CMS Supermarket

📌Introduction.

CMS is a website platform that is used to manage all our needs in apps, such as product management, user management, merchant management, markets, promos, and many others. Yes, of course our users are not end-to-end users, but internal users.So CMS is here to manage everything that runs on apps, product databases and many others. In this case product team will build cms for supermarket grocerys


🖼 Background

Following as per transaction growth for Supermarket, management have decided to separate focus between Pasar and Supermarket demand.On long term, Supermarket then will manage their own account and product in application which require new webpage distinct from internal CMS.Supermarket also have more complex details and product matrix, but will still refer to pasar for handling the whole transaction process.

🎯 Objective

1. To have own CMS for Supermarket dedicated for managing all related to supermarkets.

2. To have Supermarket management and details to setup new and/or maintain supermarkets.

3. To have Product management with all its derivative for supermarkets.

4. Setup promo for each specific supermarkets and/or for general. (Stage 2)

5. Generate general reports and reconcile reports as accountability report to supermarkets. (Stage 2)

🔎 Discover & Analysis

To achieve the objectives that we have set above, we hold several meetings to determine what requirements are needed by the stakeholders in this Supermarket CMS.

  • User Need to manage and mantain the supermarket and the product over it.
  • User Need category more advance and more neat.
  • User Need to Upload mass the supermarket product and the photo product
  • Users prefer a tidy product photo display with the same size

💡 Ideate

After discovering about supermarkets with stakeholders and analyzing the current cms, we gathered some ideas and insight to apply the design

  • How Might We Improve the security and authorization to minimize fraud that occurs and minimize system leaks.
  • How Might We make a categorization for a product to make it more neat and structured so that what will appear in the application is clean and easier to find the product category.
  • How Might We Improve the photo product more clear and tidy, so the user in apps can easily find a product as they want.
  • How Might we make a feature to upload products, and create a feature to upload product photos.

🔎 Testing

👋 About Testing

Because cms is used by the internal team, we are testing the relevant teams, here we are testing with the Merchant and Partnership team. We Testing with developers too becasuse we testing on dev stage before production stage..Our testing method is : the related team tries the actions in the supermarket cms and immediately provides feedback when testing is complete

🗂 Testing Feedback and Iteration

Regarding the Crop Photo uploaded to the photo library, the relevant team asked to add crop photo to all  photo or upload a photo, so user no need to check uploaded photo library if user are going to upload a single product.
